The Brampton Battalion Midget AA team captured the OMHA Association Championship in front of a packed and charged up home town crown at the AJax Community Centre on Sauturday March 31, 2012!
This is the third year in a row that Brampton Midget AA team has captured the Herbert G. Parker Trophy.
Goaltender Mark Terry recorded his third shutout of the playdowns as Brampton took the fifth game of the series by a score of 3-0.
The Brampton squad had built a solid advantage of winning games 1 and 2 but Ajax had stormed back to even the series at two games a piece to even the series at two games apiece heading into Saturdays contest. Cody Hulan opened the scoring for Brampton with a blast from the blue line with just under a minute remaining in the first period and the team never looked back from there.
Shaun yard added a goal in period two with a shot that appeared to handcuff the Ajax netminder and Chris Grenier finished off some nifty passing early in the third to seal the win for Brampton.
Michael Pigat, Liam Adamson and Josh Remolador provided assists on the three Brampton goals.
Next up for Brampton will the Ontario Hockey Federation Championships April 13-15 in Tecumseh Ontario where they will compete against the home squad and the GTHL, Alliance and Northern Ontario Champions.

The team Members include Mark Terry, Bradley Ramghajan, Tyler Besco, Ryan Racanelli, Shaun Yard, Chris Grenier, Michael Romano, Josh Byrne, Christian Hammerl, Jack Ford, Cody Hulan, Josh Remoldar, Liam Adamson, Stephen Christie, Tyler Stevens, Quinn Fonzo, Michael Pigat, Michael Kussman, Roberto Colavecchia and Mike Baulne. Coaching staff includes Ken Robbins, Ryan Susteras, Jim Steele, Tony DeRutye and Casey Hermanus.
