Parry Sound Peewee Hockey Club Captures Home Tournament

Parry Sound, ON: -  The Parry Sound Peewee Hockey Club captured their home tournament this weekend, The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Classic, going 5-0.

The locals started the tournament off with a 4-2 win over Cambridge on Friday night. Saturday included a 8-1 win over Georgian Shores and another 4-2 win over Prince Edward County. On to the Semi-Finals on Sunday against Bobby Orr''s second home, Oshawa. At the end of the game, Bobby Orr''s hometown came out on top with a 5-0 win.

Parry Sound would go on to face league rivals from South Muskoka in the finals. A very entertaining game right to the last second saw the locals come away with a 2-1 win. A very deserving Championship for a very deserving group of players.

Players include, Connor Lewis, Ethan Priaulx, Jayden Blower, Joel Bishop, Casey Stevens, Aidan Dudas, Connor Davidson, Tomaz Cigler, Mikey Evans, Seth Norman, Lyle Archer, Cole Willis, Leif Wilson, Ethan Rodgers, Ben Fox.
